200.00 please someone explain this to me........260417056867
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

Some Germans drink a lot.
Some Germans are clearly out of touch with reality for other reasons.
Some Germans have the exchange rate screwed up.
We don't have a clear enough understanding of German screwdriver lore.

All his auctions seem to have a very high start price.
Looking at his "Completed Listings" , two show to have sold at his prices.

You guys seem to forget one thing. It's free shipping from Germany.

Papaw

Yep. I bet the screwdriver will enjoy the ride in an economy class seat on the transatlantic flight!

We are all missing something there: The Boat! Keep your eyes peeled for any Hazet little "a" underline wrenches in like new condition. He recently sold 5 different ones in the 3 figures area. WoW!! It looks like they all went for "Best Offer".

RedVise

KXXR   Thanks for pointing that out !!  It pays to read all the threads.

I did check and have one of those wrenches. I dont see anything special about it, but it has become near and dear to me!!!
Plus I see the  Hazet V-10 wrenches have two different logos, one with an upper case A and one with a lower case a, anyone know the difference?

Hm Wrench

The small letter a hazet is for Volkswagen tool kits, the one in all capitals is for a Porsche 914.  The 450 hazet is for a Porsche 356.

You can probably date the 450 wrench here.

The logo changed to the capitals ~1965.

(Note it is all letters after the "H" that became capitalized, not just the "A".)

He has quite a few of the 450 wrenches in the 10 - 11 size, and one sold recently for $109. I didn't see that he had any 11 - 12s.
