Four more RailRoad wrenches for my Cowan Railroad Tool Display.

From top to bottom, a 22" L&N DOE S, a 17" N.C.&St.L. DOE obstruction, a 20" C&O DOE S that I bought from Wrenchmensch and a 20" C&O DOE S wrench.  The last one has a Verona trademark.  Boy howdy do I love the BIG wrenches.

Stoney,

I have a very similar wrench like the top one out in the shop, although it is a little bigger...about 32" long or so. I think it is marked H.T. Co. or something along those lines. I pulled it out of a falling down shed at my father's in-laws old home place. My stepmonster's Uncle lived there until his death, and he tended gas wells for years. I would guess it was for use on the pump jacks or something.

I also have a hand-crank sheep shearing machine that came from the same place. I couldn't find the hand-piece for it there, but found one at a flea market a couple years later. Love those old hand powered tools!!
