Oily,
Here is an NOS Torque Wrench.

I saw that earlier today.  I'd like to have it but it isn't on the boards and at some point I can't just have everything I want - if you know what I mean.  Maybe I will see one at an estate sale for $3 some day.  I have that kind of luck :)

Does anyone know if the "Thorsen Allied" name is any indication of a time when Thorsen production was 'off shore'? I have always associated the Thorsen Allied name, along with TAT and another variation or two, with Asian production; perhaps erroneously.  I looked at AA but they don't specifically address the 'Allied' markings.
They do have a lot of other information useful for dating Thorsen tools. I notice a couple of the boards have the Thorsen Allied name and wondered if OilyRascal will be looking for tools marked "Thorsen Allied" or "TAT".

I've not been able to make any determinations regarding COO and the marketing name Thorsen Allied.  The pliers John K come forward with I believe are marked Thorsen Allied and Spain as COO.

I'm still trying to find catalog information for over the years, but not having a lot of luck finding them.   I've only been at this a few weeks......Patience is a virtue slowly gained and not inherited - and I have gained a little at this point in life.

I understand. If you are tapped out from the tool store trip, then I'll quit annoying you with these heads up., but it looks like you need a few things in this item. Not sure it's worth it.

Thought I remembered buying a 1/2 drive socket set in steel box but can't locate it. Maybe I sold it. Did find 12 3/8 & 1/4 drive sockets;but looks like you have all of them except 328 (7/8-3/8 DRIVE) will hold for you with 624j socket. Also found 77Jc ratchet (3/8 drive) if you want it. also found 90 adapter (3/8-1/4) if you need it. Looks like you have located all the combo and double box ends that I have.

........ and wondered if OilyRascal will be looking for tools marked "Thorsen Allied" or "TAT".

Three of the tool boards are Thorsen branded and I am seeking Thorsen USA only tools for these boards.  The three boards branded Thorsen contain common mechanical tools (e.g. wrenches, sockets, ratchets, etc.).  One of the boards is Thorsen Allied branded.  The adjustables wrenches, pliers, and pipe wrenches are the tools on this board and the only tools on any of the boards branded Thorsen Allied.  However, this "tool board project" has, more or less, turned itself (no help from me) into a Thorsen tool collection project.  If it is Thorsen or Thorsen Allied branded, and made in the USA, I'm most likely interested although I don't currently have specific targets outside the tool boards.  I hope that helps.

Oily, how about a shot of the display with those hooks filling up?   I'm sure all are interested in seeing it.

I've pulled the detailed listing of Thorsen tools I still need to fill the display.  I feel strongly it was recently being used creatively for Ebay sales.  Please simply PM me if you have Thorsen tools you're interested in trading or selling.

Although not directly related to the display project, I want to share an awesome Thorsen toolbox I've obtained via the assistance of one dimwittedmoose.  I've regarded it with wonder, pleasure, and approval since the moment I got home today.

Here are pics of what I have.  I found an adjustable and speeder that were in hiding this morning.  The adjustable is 56728 says eurostyle with no COO.  It also has my intials and a funny finish.  I think i used this to experiment with evaporust.  The speeder is 3/8 drive and i can't make out the part # 69-.
