I don't quite get how I am so blest!  Was checking over a truck at work, a trade in.   In some junk jammed under the aluminum box mount tool box, I pulled out this little gem.  I don't think its real old, however it doesn't say China on it anywhere.  Polished up the face and the horn, pretty soft stuff.  The little vise I already had but the photo brought out something I didn't know about.  Cast into the inner jaw is: Weiss 1885 H&R.   First thing into my mind is Harrington and Richardson, one time gun maker.  I have another miniature anvil, from a friend that trained as a watch maker in 1928.  These will be great for that fine metal working project, can do it right here by the computer!

Hey, I've got one of those anvils too.  No idea what I'll use it for, but... It's an anvil!  Mine's blue.
