I always used it to remove the outside race of a front wheel bearing in the drum. I am not sure what the correct name is or what the numbered circles around it meant.

That is a handy tool Bob
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.
