I've looked at this box of misc. Snap-on sockets and sliding T bars for well over a year at a local "antique mall'. But today, I finally bought the lot. I think for the most part the majority will clean up well with a brass brush treatment.

Today something caught my eye in there, and I decided I would just have to ferret out more information about these tools.

Can any of you ratchet guys see why I finally bit on this box of treasure???

I think all the sockets are from a Ferret set, Noel. At least the part numbers are matching up.

I know the Ferret ratchets are hard to find, I wonder if the Sliding T is hard to find as well.

Ferrets have bolts?  I take it they're disguised under the fur.

The ratchets are not all that hard to find. When Snap on came out with 3/8 drive they named it Ferret.
