I have some unmarked sockets I forgot I had in the shop. They all say made in the USA and have the same type of lines around them. They are the following sizes
-15/16
-7/8
-11/16
-5/8
-9/16
-7/16

Here are pictures, excuse the poor angles, there off the webcam.

I am going to ask 6 dollars for the sockets plus 6 dollars for USPS faltrate box shipping. The total will be a twelve dollars cash.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

Those are most likely Duro made socket's. Does anyone make a square to hex adapter with a check ball on the hex side?

Thanks for the Info.

I am unsure if anyone makes that adaptor, however it wouldnt suprise me. I will do some checking to see if I can find one.

For some reason I don't see the pictures, but if they say Made in USA with straight lines, then they are made by New Britain (Husky or None Better)

m_fumich

What do you mean by "straight lines"?

There are straight lines where the knurl should be. Old Indestro hex sockets do not say Made in USA while New Britain sockets do.

I still can't see any pictures, am I the only one?

Papaw

I see them both in the OP and in your quote.

Very strange, I see pictures in all the other posts but not in this one.

So the knurled hex sockets that say Made in USA are New Britain?  Did I get that right?  I have a few of these.

I'm using my old PC with Windows XP, and I see the pictures. The sockets are New Britain (Husky or None Better).

The ones with straight verticle lines and Made in USA are New Britain. Please post a picture of yours, I think I know which ones they are but I'm not positive.

I have both types--this particular on looks to be cadimum plated with only the vertical-parallel lines so would presume this to be made by Duro/Indestero!

Looking for USA made ratchets-all sizes-drives and lengths  also S-K SuperKrome wrenches ditto.  Like to trade vs buy run it past me-nothing is cut in stone!

You are correct.
