Went to estate sale this morning. Found these New Britain conbo metric wrenchs and this Owatonna tool box. Box is super heavy. If I fill it I won't be able to move it without help. Has been repainted on outside; think it should match blue of inside. Am I right on that ? Witha little haggling was able to get box and wrenchs for asking price of box. A morning well spent except I don;t need the box or the wrenchs.

jimwrench,

That is a 1st class tool chest.  And a big one to boot.  As to the paint color, who really cares?  It's clean, non rusty, and it appears that the paint job was done properly.

Bottom line, you got a great viintage box and you don't have to spend several days cleaning, derusting, priming and painting.
And, you got a nice set of combos to put in it.

Owatonna is good stuff! I like it just fine. Well done! Nice wrenches too.

Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

Good finds. Old sets of wrenches are hard to find.
