The Pate Antique Car Swap meet in Texas is the 3rd largest in the nation. I have been going for 30 years but have never looked at tools until this year.
I found a toolbox there last week and was digging thru it when the Vendor said, "$15 for the box and everything in it!"
As you can see in the photos I got 38 wrenches plus breaker bars, sockets, extensions and lots of other things.
The box itself is old and good quality with reinforced corners and was not full

you can tell me I live in Phoenix...

Phoenix might be closer than I am, as big as Texas is!
It is 800+ miles from east to west, and a bit more from south to north in Texas.
it is 867 miles from Phoenix to Austin in the center of Texas!

Serious question:  What do you folks use your wrenches on??

I have been using 1930, 1940 and 1950 wrenches on  cars from the 1930s, 40s and 50s for more than 50 years so of course I know about Pate but your questions suggest that you do not use your wrenches.

I use most of my old wrenches at least once if they are keepers, just to feel the quality of them. As for what I use them on, it would be anything I work on from cars, trucks, motorcycles to anything that needs a wrench. Pate must be an antique car event that I haven't heard of, so I will look it up.

Color me dumb- never heard of it, though I've been to many a car swap meet around Houston, never Dallas/Ft Worth.

I use my old tools to do everything. I even have a set of perfect handle screwdriver I strictly use to tear down my guns for cleaning and repair.
