Note the "S" on the end of Blue Point. Snapmom once stated this was the first name.

Motor tool Specialty was snapon's distributor. Milwaukee tool and forge was a supplier to them.
How exactly Blue Point(s) made the transition from MTF to snapon is a bit obscure..
The catalog is interesting in as much as it has all 3 names on it at the same time....
(I am thinking just pre 1929..)
The fact they made chisels gives an interesting twist to the name....
(Machine grinding the ends and quenching would leave them blue..)
