Went out this morning on a quest. A nearby town had a whole town garage sale. Newer houses mostly, so not much to be had there. Our town had a large outdoor flea market at the fairgrounds. Much to be had there. I picked up 2 Plomb sockets and 2 Plomb ing. wrenches. Picked up about 8 other wrenches and about 12 misc. sockets. A pair of Belden electricions pliers, a pair of Herbrand hose clamp pliers, a 3/8 hex handle Craftman speed wrench, a small Stanley chrome push drill, a Proto body hammer, a little Kant Twist clamp and a few misc. items. Spent just over $20.00 including the $3.00 entry fee. One seller was a real jerk. I had 25 wrenches i was buying from him. I asked him if he had a small box to put them in. He handed me a small cardboard box and said that will be $3.00 for the box. I put 20 of the wrenches back on his table and kept 5 of them. I had several people just give me stuff and one lady offered me a quarter when came up short on a purchase. I only saw about 1/3 of the flea market because it was very warm and my bum leg was hurting too much to do alot of walking. The two Plomb sockets i got were in half inch drive 12 points. one was a 29/32 and the other was 31/32. I gave a $1.00 for the Plomb sockets. A good day, very tiring for me tho.

Sounds like a great time with some good finds.
3 bux for a box, I wouldn't have bought a thing from him.

Any day spent shopping for old tools is a good day. Too bad about the box seller guy though. For his sake I hope he learned something from this.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

The 5 items i did buy were the two Plomb wrenches, the Craftsman 3/8 speed wrench, the Herbrand pliers and a P&C wrench. I will remember him. He also had a large table covered with hot wheels. I know most of the sellers from all of our local flea markets.

Wow Evil'   Too bad the bummer vender tried to gig you for 3 bucks? I admire you for putting back the ones you really did not need too badly. I usually tell some one like that where to store his merchandise and leave everything there. Then when I get home I whine about not getting the wrench I needed for my set. :(

I'm sorry, but in my world with out photos......................it didn't happen

I would rather have tools I never use, than to need a tool I don't have.

Mel,
EvilDr235 can't post pictures on the web with his computer. He can email pictures to you if you need them.
