When I bought the Craftsman machinest tools I showed intrest in a kennedy box he had but was selling as a complete set with all mac an snap on and craftsman tools an a few kennedy. I couldnt afford the large set and most of it I already had. I left my number after buying the craftsman box an told him if hes ever intrested in piecing out the set let me know an I will be a buyer for some of the tools an the box.

Heres what I got

Very nice.  I have one nearly the same in brown color.  I believe the one I have is from the 70s.
"FORGED IN THE USA" myself.  Be good to your tools!

It's funny. I work at a big machine shop, and nearly all of the machinists have Kennedy toolboxes. But in all of the garages I've been to, I've never seen a mechanic with a Kennedy box.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

I wouldnt dare touch that one, its in working order an nothing wrong with it. I think its got alot of character just the way it is.

No need to re-finish.
Just soap and water, elbow grease and paper towels will clean it up.
Great find.
