I have Girard Standard, Girard Special, and plain Girard wooden-handled wrenches.  This 5 1/2" nickel-plated Girard Bicycle wrench is 1/4" thick.

That is a nice one! I have Girards, but not one of those.

I get jellies every time I look at the wrenches you post... It would seams we have almost the same tastes in wrenches...   
If all else fails use a bigger hammer...
