This pair was sitting at the auction too.   Have come close to buying one a few times.   Didn't bid on these,  and already have enough (extra stuff) sitting around.  Don't ask what they went for, don't know, as they were running 3 auction rings at once, and I was elsewhere.   Wonder if the power is solid enough to run a household when the power goes down?   When I've used them to weld, love it when the governor opens up.

My dad had one of those years ago. I think it had a continental engine in it (?)
As I remember it only has one 15 amp outlet on it, they usually were just intended for tools with universal motors , I wouldn't plug a fridge or such into it. Worked fine for welding tho, lots of iron, nice stable arc.

Things weigh a TON tho, just barely qualify as 'portable'....

The ones in the pic don't look all that well cared for, You could probably find one in a lot better shape...

120 volt power is from the exciter generator of the SA 200.
It's only 1000 or 1500 watts DC.

Not much help keeping a house running.
