Made a stop yesterday afternoon at the biggest antique mall around here.   A few more tools than is normal, pretty good prices on most.  Real nice little hand crank grinder with adjustable mount, but $29 was just too high as i already have that model.   Found an interesting wooden tool box, hip roof, 2 lids, made with old hardware and slotted screws, but discovered it was recent made.   Then in one dark stall was a steel machinists tool box.   Had the front cover, latches all beat up.  Several coats of dark blue nearly black paint, that almost covered the steel identification plate riveted to the top.  Property of the U.S. Navy, with the associated inventory numbers.   Nearly went home with me, but don't really have a place to put it.  Anyway its still there at $30.  I did pickup a drawknife very cheap, and another one of those machine shop made steel hammers, with all the engine turning.  Spent 11 dollars with tax.  Earlier in the week I was at a flea market, (he had a sign out front saying Antique Shop),  not many antiques in there, but found a box of screwdrivers, Your choice, 25cents each.   Picked a nice handful of woodies and some Stanley, even a Par-X.  Now back to enjoying the weekend.
