I'm not sure if I am in the right forum for this. I've no idea if it is a tool or a cake pan. Its cast, 1 7/8 deep x 8 wide x 24 1/4 long. A slight difference in the ends. Picked it up at a farm auction full of old tools.

I'm thinking ash pan for a furnace...
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
