I have another tool ID sorry. It is made by Landers Frary & Clark. It also says Aetna Works. From the research I have done Landers Frary & Clark made food knives. This looks like a tool for something. The curved part of the blade is sharpened. But then has a straight end. It measures 9-3/4" long. What is it?

Sorry?  Sorry?!?!?  That's one of the things people on this site live for - being the first to ID some obscure tool, specific to 1938 Henways (and then only the Light 4); watching with admiration as someone identifies it; or, all else failing, speculating wildly on the tool's use/name/origins.

I have no idea what that tool is, but it's a particularly fine example of whatever it is.

I don't know , but I'll guess its some kind of cutter for packing seal.

LF&C didn't actually make anything I know of. They were a big hardware chain. They ordered goods from manufacturers and had their house brand name marked.  LF&C Universal was one of their famous house names.
They were in the middle. Sears was often cheapest, LF&C in the middle and Hibbard Spencer and Bartlett sold to top most goods. 

  I have no idea what this was made for, though. Kind of look veterinary to me?

Well, yeah, I was hoping.  There's got to be at least one person on this forum, though probably only one, who doesn't know.

One of my moments of pride from my working years was having my boss ask "What's a Henway?" in response to my pump priming during a manager's meeting.

 "What's a Henway?"

If you watched enough Johnny Carson, you learned this one.

Last time I couldn't figure out a totally weird looking knife, it turned out to have something to do with honey.
Beekeepers tools are unusual and you don't see them all the time.

We need some better pictures of the blade. Does the small, flat heel have a sharpened edge as well or is it flat. Is there any thickness to the heel? I'm having a hard time seeing it clearly.

This is a utilitarian tool, not a vanity tool...the handle is as modest as they came around 1900 +/- 20 in either direction. -If- it is the original handle.
