Small Adjustable Head Vise

The picture makes this vise look larger than it is.  The jaws on it are only 1 1/8 in. wide and are able to rotate about 270 degrees.  The inventor, a Mr. B.F. Stephens makes quite a few interesting claims.  The patent is really worth reading. 

I'm kind of a 'sucker' for this little oddball stuff, as you can see from some of my other under 6 in. stuff.

Good thing you found that first!   Wouldn't that be for a jeweler or watchmaker?  So it swivels, and the jaws can lay over to the right and left?   Do you have an age on it?  I'm thinking 1905 or earlier, have never seen one just like that.    NEAT.
