After lying fallow for some time, I'm starting to pump images into FLICKR again -- old ads I've dug out using google books.
For example (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mvwcnews/8286270414/in/photostream ) is the HAWKEYE "PIPE" double alligator wrench.
If you need a period ad to go along with your favorite old wrench, look in FLICKR, or let me know -- I may have one I can post.
