Heelie, consider it done and Branson, I'll check and maybe just take em if they're $2 ea.  eh?

Sounds good.

Heelie:  I got the chalk box.  It has blaze orage chalk in it, works just fine and is a "DANDEE REEL" made in minneapolis

Branson  Here's some real closeups of the speed squares.  I couldn't find any maker marks, but the one looks like a Stanley Sweetheart, right?

The square with the Mickey Mouse ear brass looks like a typical Stanley.  The one with the diamond brass bits is probably English, and that pattern has been around for 200 years.  I had to document the pattern when I was at Sutter's Fort, and I found it illustrated in an 1812 book.  The bottom one in the first photo is a real odd-ball.  Looks like it's got an adjustable arm instead of a fixed right angle.  For $2 I'll take it.

rusty

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

All the tools in the photos are now here at my house.  Oily anted up his share and thanks to a guy coming by the house and buying over $100 worth of old tool boxes, I forked over the rest.  There will be a lot of what was left I'll sell, but Papaw/Branson, and Heelspur, you're stuff is safe and $2 each, so Papaw got a discount out of the deal...

I should post the photos of all the implement wrenches on the proper forum and see what those folks think.  some duplicates, but no cracks in any of them that I could see.  If you don't like the varnish look on tools, I guess there's an "app" for that!!!....lol

The guy also had a box of planes for $20, mostly the midgets, but they're going to get sold, except for the Millers Falls and one American Boy(which I don't have one of until now)  Post photos of them later tomorrow.  PM if you have requests or inquiries...

That stamped metal try square above the Mickey Mouse ear square looks like the squares included in some of the American Boy tool sets.

Way to go Moose!  This is a real win-win for everyone.  Nice of you to help the guy move his tools and lots of guys got some good stuff at reasonable prices.
