Thanks ya'll for not buying the Irwin screwdrivers I listed in the classified a couple weeks ago.  They did much better on ebay.  I think i offered them here for $35 shipped.  Ebay auction ended at 102.50!  Now I will have to find something to spend the $ on.  I hope the flea market is packed saturday.

Yes, there is one of them that is correct, maybe two, for the Jeep kit. Lukakiki that posts here occasionally will know the particulars. Good condition ones are sought after for restoration Jeep kits.

   I am not sure when they stopped making them, but I bought Irwins just like this from Silvo Hardware in the 1970's. A standard catalog item. Sets or any size you wanted. 
  Of course, I also could have had Marples, crank neck paring chisels with 8" blades, either rosewood or boxwood handles, your choice (box was a bit more).  The gouges just like them were the next listing down, but as it turned out, lots of guys bought gouges and very few bought the chisels, so now the chisels are rare.   

Silvo had been in business for decades though, and they offered things that weren't made anymore alongside current production, so I never knew what was still current.

This is the Irwin that is billed as correct for the WW2 jeep kit, Papaw. Courtesy of the jeepdraw site Rusty mentioned. There are other brands as well...Tobrin and Federal.
