I'm seeing news reports the flu is particularly bad this year in the US.  29 young folks being reported lost this season to it.  I hope those members here that are vulnerable are being careful with it, and those with flue issues are taking it seriously.

Good health!

I've heard the same. I had it earlier this month but nothing serious.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

I heard the same thing but one Doc (or whoever he was) said its an average year,
and they were just pushing people to get the flu shot.

Who ya suppose to believe.

For the very first time, I took the threat seriously.  There *have* been some deaths already.  My HMO has opened a second round of the vaccines because they do think the situation is serious.  Since the HMO provides the vaccine for free, I really doubt they are trying to drum up more business.
