Does anyone know this logo that is on a large screwdriver I have.  I have only seen it on a few screwdrivers over the years.

herbrand used a H inside a diamond, but I don't think they made screwdrivers.

I looked at The Wrenching News list of logos, and the Herbrand Diamond H looks different than this one.  My Herbrand catalog did show screwdrivers, some with shafts as long as 16 inches (mine has an 18 inch shaft), but theirs had square shanks (mine has round).

I have a couple of Herbrand screwdrivers, but they have translucent sapphire plastic handles.  The handle on this one looks very Proto/Plomb-like, but maybe that was the in thing back then....

The guy on Ebay thinks it might be early Herbrand.  I was going to skim the EAIA Directory, but there are 75 pages of H's.   There is someone on here that collects Herbrand.  I will wait for him to chime in before I do that.

I had thought of that also, but Hargrave logo is pretty consistant with using a circle, and their wood screwdriver thing was longinitudly grooved handles advertised for gripping...

It is astonsihing how many screwdriver manufacturers there were...
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
