I don't know on this pair. Anyone know what these are for?

Steve, I believe those are magnetic inserters for split-collar keepers used for rotating free valves on Fords. Early 1950s?

I have a 1957 K-D catalog. The guy who gave it to me, borrowed it back and now he can't find it. When it turns up I'll look it up.
