Question for you vise experts: What should I do with this?  Strip & repaint it?  Just bolt it to the bench and call it a day?

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Tool Talk!
Nice vise, especially at that price. I would restore it .

Nice vice, Expecially at that price.

I personally would restore it as papaw said.

Solid base Parker vise is a great find.
I would dis-assemble it, clean it up, then sand blast all the parts.
Then spray paint in the color of your choice.
If you do not have a present vise on your work bench, then use this one.
Wish I could find one like that!
I would like to see your photos of this project.

Thanks for the input, guys.  Based on your opinions, I'll probably strip it, repaint it, then mount it to the bench.  Black w. white lettering?
