Left to Right, Gordon Automatic Quick Adjust Crescent Style Wrenches, 10 inch, 8 inch and 6 inch. Did they make any other sizes? All 3 marked patent pending, Patented July 22, 1924. Next Athol Machine Co., Standard Tool Co Quick Adjust Rapid Transit Wrenches, 8 1/2 Inches with wood handle and the more common 6 inch all steel version. I don't believe they made any other sizes of this one. Patented June 8, 1880.

Maybe I finally completed these 2 sets.

Very nice!!  I've never seen the Gordon's before.  I have one of the all metal Standard Rapid Transit's but did not know it came in the larger size.  I was under the impression that there was a 6 in. version with a wood handle.  Do you know if that is true?

As far as I know the 6 inch Athol/Standard Rapid Wrench only came with a steel handle. I could be wrong but I have never seen one.

As far as I know, that is the case. I haven't seen the wooden handled 8" one.

I have each of the steel ones, one Standard Tool and one Athol Machine.

I realized there is also a 10 inch wood handled version of the Athol/Standard Rapid Wrench. I have one that has been butchered in one of my backup storage drawers. I guess I'll have to try and revive it for display.

I found a good 10 inch Athol/Standard Tool quick adjust to complete the set. 10 inch, 8 inch and 6 inch nominal sizes.

NICE!!  I am on the lookout for those wood handled ones.

Nice groups. Can you still find these in the wild or do the come from wrench auctions?

In the wild maybe, these have come from auctions, so they must have been in the wild at some point.
