machine tooling , scrap?

I have always been told that once tooling gets rusty, it is junk.

not being a machinist, I have believed it.


So, just before I put this stuff  in the scrap  steel bucket, please take a look and see if any of it is NOT junk

The other pieces look cool, though.  Would make awesome pieces for a welded up junk sculpture!!

The three on the right are old hob cutters, used for cutting gear teeth. And unless someone wants them as a conversation piece, they are junk.
