German Pliers-English Zone? British Zone?

Found this interesting pair of pliers, but can't make out the inscriptions. Says ????? tool Co. , forged, German
????lish Zone.  New to me. Any info?

I agree. It wouldn't have said "English" Zone.

I've had several pairs of these and they were all marked British Zone.  They were all the same pattern as yours...in fact I've never seen any other patterns, although you would think they would exist.

They do. I have at least one pair so-marked that are a different model and I'm 99% sure I've seen others too.

My camera's not working (left my charger up north) but if I can dig them out, I'll post a photo next week...
