I will not be posting for a while. I am going into the hospital Wednesday for surgery and may not have internet access.

So today I am driving to work and I see this great piece of rusty metal out to the road near my house. I am running late and the fuel light just came on. So I go to work and call my wife. Sweet woman drags our kid out of bed and hooks up the trailer drives over and loads this thing on the trailer. Not sure what to store in it other than firewood but the price was right.
You have to love a woman like that.
I lost 3 of the plastic knockdown containers in fire #2 and this is fireproof. I wish I actually had two half this size. I really would have a use for them.

You could put the trash barrels in it so animals can't dump them over.

Good luck on the surgery.

Good idea for storing fire wood, and at that price you can't complain.

Hope the surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

The operation I had was successful and I am doing decent. The operation reveled a heart rhythm problem which should have been diagnosed a year ago.
I have bradycardia. My heart rate is low, averaging 44 BPM
It is not in what is called a normal sinus rhythm, IE 60-100.
They may want me to get a pace maker.

mrchuck

Nothing wrong with a "pacemaker".
Today's model lasts forever.
It's fine to have "brady" than no heartbeat at all. Remember that!

I found out today on facebook a younger cousin of mine (they are all younger, I was the first grandkid on both sides) has had a pacemaker for 5 years.

Glad to hear that all went well. Like Mr Chuck says 44bpm is WAY ahead of none.

I'll take good news like this any time.   In and out, short hospitalization, is  good, don't like to hang around those places.    Worked with a guy that had to get a pacemaker, as soon as he came around, said the colors of everything were so much brighter, he had lived with low BP for years.
