A friend of mine bought this at a yard sale and wants to know if its new or old.

He also had a Crestoloy 6" adjustable that looked so cheap and was light as heck,
are the Chinese faking any of those. The wrench looked like it was very cheaply made,
wish I took a pic of it.

He paid $5 for this Bahco.

johnek is gonna be your guy on this, but you can tell your friend I'll give him $10 for his wrench!

I've wanted one for years...

Already showed him the 2 on ebay, one had a $50 price on it so he believes that's the value now. Tried to explain ebay to him but he's a little contrary.

Standard tool kit wrench for Volvo, not high value. Johnek will be able to tell you the age.

LOL! eBay might fetch $20, but only a fool would pay more.

But remember that fools are not in short supply!

Lorne, I found one Bahco after a few years searching.    At a streetmarket I hit every weekend nearly the entire search time.     I also have a much coveted (by me) Neverstall pliers heading my direction soon enough.     That find required friends though.

Hang tight, the holy grail items crop up when and where you least expect them.
The only bad tool is the one that couldn't finish the job.  Ironicly it may be the best tool for the next job.

For sure. I don't have the money, but I do have the patience!
