The blue 914

Yellow paint for sure.

Does it have a lifter mechanism for the blade on the backstroke?  If so that's the most important part of the mcahine.

I don't seem to see this, nor any  place where things may be missing.

It does have the auto-shutoff feature.

West Haven Mfg was bought by Millers falls in 1920, because MF was making blades for them and they stopped ordering them from MF. They were MF's only customer for the blades.
So MF responded by buying the entire company....

If it does have backstroke blade lift, I can't call it either way from the pics, it's mechanical not hydraulic.  Sure way to tell, crank it a couple strokes and watch the blade carefully.

It would be a much nicer machine with fluid cooling & chip washing, but I wouldn't kick it off a job for the want of those features.

Only drawback to those machines today is the price blades are going for on ePay and other places.

I miss my Miller's Fall's one, that I traded off, like a dumb-@ss. lol
