Anybody recognize this logo?

rusty

Messy , and complicated, some forge mark from an iron foundry in Indiana, contracted to Majestic co, which was a contrace hardware supplier for Mesker Bros....(Mesker Bros iron works, but they bought and sold more than they actually made)

("Brownie clamp co" was actually a paper division of Majestic co, Huntington,IA)
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

You're right that's a brain teaser. Where did you find your info?
I know how to make brownies now since I googled it.

Have you ever seen the Official Boy Scout tools - knife and all that?  This is obviously an Official Brownie C-Clamp, as used by those little pre-Girl Scouts for their troop projects.  In the U.S., the Girl Scouts have abolished the names for the various age groups, so this is now an Official Collector's Item.

NOTE: the above commentary is not factual.  Relying on the statements above as the basis for anything will get you in deep trouble.  Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while thinking about the statements above.  The FDA has identified no nutritional or medicinal value to the statements above.  On the brighter side, the Surgeon General finds no evidence that the statements above will increase your cancer risk.
