Hello!

I really don't know much about tools, so I wasn't sure where to post my question.  I have an old Stanley vice model # 3993A.  According to the antique tools people at Stanley, the vice is at least 40 years old, if not older.  My husband and I want to sell it but aren't sure of it's value and if there is a market for this kind of thing.

Thanks!

Papaw

Welcome to Tool Talk!

Your VISE is not very old in the true sense of old tools. Pictures might help, b ut the best way to find its resale value is to check current and past sales of the same item, paying attention to the actual sold price, not the asking price.
Search Ebay's "Completed Listings".
