Saw this at a garage /yard sale Fri. 11th AM.
They had a couple tools; I had a big plastic speed square and a Jorgenson bar clamp in my hand and asked if they had any planes. The lady said yes, they had one made out of (an) iron.
They bought this out and I tried to take a picture with my cell. Took a picture cause I knew me buying it was not gonna happen. Wood in sole area heavily termite damaged.
Anyhow, sure enough you could read SUNBEAM on the side of the "tote".
They said they were told the guy that made this was all the time creating things with whatever was at hand.

The funny thing is, it probably works well....
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
