I'm new to this old tool stuff, even though I'm well aged myself.  I came across this cross peen hammer, attached is a photo of the maker's mark.  I thought it might be Vlchek; can anyone say for certain?

Thanks,
Kim

Not vlchek. It is more than likely of European lineage. Note the 800 mark. On most hammers from across the pond, that would be the weight marking. In this case, it is 800 grams, which is just over 1-1/2 pound here.

Picture of it whole would be nice...I'm kinda a hammer junkie...

Finally, the whole hammer, side view.  Note that someone grooved the handle.

Cut almost all of it out.  I can't even tell it is a hammer. :-)

Sorry,

Had to laugh at Chilly's reply to ...

"Note that someone grooved the handle."

"Cut almost all of it out.  I can't even tell it is a hammer. :-)
Sorry,"

Still waiting to see the photo...
