If you've never been there before, you'll be surprised at the number of old photographs available on the Wisconsin Historical Society website. Most are from the 1880's through the 1920's:  https://www.wisconsinhistory.org/whi/

For instance, I typed "GARAGE" into the search box and this is just a small fraction of what turned up. Lots of old time tractors and vehicles being repaired. Wish we could get a better look at those tool boards, but I'm sure some of you guys can identify a few of the old wrenches shown.

Looks like a couple places I worked at in the last 50 years. One was built in 1923 , one 1949.

 I also notice that tools are in their proper place, not laying on the floor or
piled on the bench.  something that I realy should practice doing.

I typed in wrenches and they showed image 9617

it was 2 men with large wrenches twisting a tractor part.

Great site!!  over 700 photos of "tools"!! just a few interesting copies...

i.e.  Barrel making tools and cattails, use for cauking barrels, at the Hess Cooperage.

The tool board shown in the FARMALL repair photos (#3, #4, #7 ) was detailed in  past issues  of the MVWC Newsletter.  Nearly all the tools on that board  have part numbers beginning "SE" for "Service Equipment."
