2014 has been a spring I would rather not relive.
Had my right carotid artery reamed in late MAR.
This caused my urinary system to shut down.
Since we were scheduled to go to mvwc meet and then go fishing at lake of the Ozarks;I ended up wearing a catheter to York and for a weeks fishing.
Got home and had prostate reamed.
Then at end of Apr wife had what turned into a brain stem stroke.
Wife of 52 years died May 10.

Barbara had zero interest in wrenchs but faithfully sat thru many wrench auctions with her oxygen tank.
Last week had left carotid artery reamed and am at home waiting for next Fri when I can drive again.
Haven't had time to look at what I purchased at York but plan to in near future.
This scenario explains why I've been a little inactive on Tool Time.

Tough spring indeed.

Jim, sorry for your loss and I hope your health issues get better. I know I met you and probably met your wife at Davenport a few years ago. I hope things start to turn around for you.

My condolences on the loss of your  spouse.  Having a rough one here too, wifes health, so we are taking it a day at a time, its all any of us can do.  May things turn around for the better soon.

Uncomfortable? With all the drilling, poking, operating and testing you have been through? You must be a very strong man.

Buried my parents (mother w/ fathers ashes) 2 weeks ago. Sounds like its been a tough spring for many here. I feel old, but I get the feeling I am in the young half of the group (chronologically if not physiologically.)
