Getting right to the point here.... looking for information on Click pliers mfg around 1944 in Fairbury, Ne.  Have pair w/box and instruction sheet in mint condition. Thank you in advance for any help

The two patents are in DATAMP  -- ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/advance.php?pn=2358858&id=13972&set=2 ) includes a link to the 2nd as well.
Even in Nebraska, examples with the box & instruction sheet are not common so you've got a neat collectible.
Sorry I don't know how long they were in production.  Fairbury was a railroad hub of sorts at the time.  It has since depopulated considerably ( as have so many places not on Interstate 80 ).

They are mentioned in a 1964 Hardware Age (tools,pliers), so  they lasted until then , at least. Not much else on them I could find...
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
