Anyone know what these pliers are for? Also any info on Hartford tool & Die? I don't see anything!

PWA 2043 is more important, war era aircraft tool...

From an unrelated 1943 patent for a bandsaw blade

If I recall PWA means Pratt Whitney Aircraft. This tool coluld have been manufactured for them by Hartford Tool & Die
