Hi guys, brand new to the website, and I love it so far.  I have a partially complete Mossberg No. 14 tool set.  I have all the socket parts, and a couple of the wrenches.  I have been searching the net for a picture of the Mossberg No. 100 combination pliers.  If I ever hope to find a set, I need to know what they look like.  I know they are rarer than hen's teeth, but thought someone here might know of a picture of them.

Welcome to the forum!
There are some Mossberg lovers around here. I'm sure they'll be chiming in as they get the chance.

I like Mossberg, but haven't even seen a pic of the  pliers.

I love Mossberg also and collect (hoard) all I can find.  I cannot seem to find any Mossberg pliers or even a picture.
The first one to find and post a picture will for sure be a big winner.
Always looking for Stanley planes and parts, Mossberg and Plomb wrenches.

The 100R was the 'rustproof' version of the 100 pliers for the marine set, I dunno for sure that they are identical, but probably so, in which case they should look like this:

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Thanks Rusty.  So, what I can discern from the picture is that the jaws are a bit "fat", and it has the threaded nut with 2 flat sides to retain the pivot bolt/pin.  Any idea if they have the diamond M marking or no markings at all?

PS.  thanks to all who have welcomed me.  I have a number of antique tools that I have collected, and some antique shop tools, like valve grinders, etc.  My real passion in antique Farmall tractors that I restore.  I do a good bit of the work myself, and enjoy actually using the old tools to restore them.  I just did a valve job with a 1930 Kwik Way valve grinder, and cut the seats with a circa 1920's Sioux valve tool kit.  I also collect the original tools for the Farmalls, and my goal is to have a complete set for each tractor.  I am partway there, and ways to go.

I think, yes, under the pin nut, here's a different picture of it, I see what may be a diamond...

(sorry, I don't have any better quality scans to work from)

Bus

Here is a scan or the 100 pliers from a 1915 Mossberg catalog.

Bus and Rusty:  THANKS!  these scans are what I needed.

If I am not mistaken my dad has a pair of those pliers. I will have to go visit this weekend and see. I will let you know what I find.
