Don't have any clue on this one. I bought a 1/4 Armstrong NM-51 Armalloy ratchet and this little item was on the drive lug. It's bigger across the flats than 3/8 - 0.440. It is 0.445 tall.

Just a guess but it might be an adapter to allow the use of 7/16 drive sockets.

I had thought it might be an adapter and it's pretty close to 7/16 (0.4375). But there is no obvious means of retaining the socket if it is an adapter.

might be a male pipe plug socket :P

A good possibility. I have never seen a pipe plug socket with the rounded end but you could well be right.

I don't have many old socket tools but I do have 2 different extensions with no detent ball to hold the socket on. What made me think adapter was that it looks just like the drive plug. Is the hole in the side of it threaded for a set screw? One of the extensions I have is like that to hold it onto the drive plug.
I've never seen one like it so am just guessing.

The hole in the side coincides with the check ball on the 1/4 drive lug.

Maybe a ratchet plug protector? Yea, thats all I could come up with. Lol

PS. How does one post 9 photos, with the 4 photo limit? If I could get 6 in, I would be happy!Lol

OK, I've raised the limit to 10 attachments, I hope it doesn't cause problems down the road. If it does, I'll change it back and suggest posting extra attachments in a reply.

That is correct, JAFE. If the poster uses that code, any number of photos can be put in the post.

Thanks for the Tip! Your photos do show up in the perfect size to fill the space. At this point I will stay with what I'm doing, as I dont have photobucket yet. My computer is running on fumes, and I dont know if it will handle another program. I do need to do something to make my pictures a bit larger tho, and will keep working on it.

You don't need a program to use photobucket. Just upload your photos to their hosting space, and then link to them in your posts. They even give you the "code" to copy and paste so they are inserted into your posts.

It really is easier to do sometimes, rather than uploading photos to your posts from your PC.
