Got it at garage sale last week, the lady had mostly toys and baby clothes when I asked if she had any tools she said only one, and this was it!

I wasn't aware Trimo made wrenches in that style...

I'm not sure I've seen one either, but it is definitely TRIMO. I'll have to look at my bunch.

This is a fairly common Trimo wrench here in the Middle Atlantic region.

Fatboy

Yea, probably pretty common as I found a few on the internet. It's marked 18", nice and big!

OH yeah, 18 is a big un!
These wrenches are pretty common here on the worst coast. But not big like this.
I really like them.

Here is my Trimo monkey wrench. It is an 8" one made after TRIMONT bought the designs from H D Smith when they went out of business.

I also like the wood-handled Trimo wrenches.  Here is one of mine. Its virtue is not only its design; look who used it!  The Bell System guys, with their olive green trucks. Who remembers them now?

No wonder my phone never worked right,
using 12" pipe wrenches on 3/8 terminal block nuts.....*

The large Trimo's are good working tools btw, well worth the $2, I think the not so pretty ones I have in large sizes cost me more like $20...

The slip jaw pipe wrench (30") I have had probably 25 years, has never lost a fight with a pipe fitting. (and, no, I have not been kind  to it, pipe wrenche are not meant for kind people ; )

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
