Hi all.. Does anyone know what this Firestone tool is used for? It is large approx. 47" long and heavy approx. 25 pounds. Side reads FIRESTONE.  I think it is a heavy duty tire changing tool but i haven't been able to find any information to confirm that? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I listed the tool on ebay. I believe its a split rim tool but I haven't been able to find any information to confirm this. I haven't been able to find anything similar.

Check out this site:

They have a video of it being used. I believe it is a version of this tool.

Hope this helps! Bill D.

Curious, even though we now know what it is, there appears to be no on-line reference to it, and no image.....

The closest that I can find is this one (similar to the Australian tyre plier tool....)
