I had put off buying one of these because so many people have them over priced in my opinion.
This one operates perfectly and just needs a lil cleaning up. Paid $8 for it, that's about 15-20 dollars cheaper than others I have looked at.

Nice, I like the spindle lock feature, never seen one like that. Is that a spirit level that I'm seeing on the stock?

I see it is a two speed drill. I have a Miller Falls simular to yours. They work good. I had to drill a hole to mount a gate on the duck pen many years ago. I was to lazy to drag a drop cord out so i used OLD CRANKY.

Yea, but unfortunately there is no bubble.

The drills with spirit levels are neat - lets you drill a horizontal hole, if you can get the hole positioned at a height that you can press against the drill and look down at the bubble.  Post the dimensions here - maybe someone's got one in a junk...um, parts...drawer.

Those two speed drills with the speed change done by moving the spindle seem so bulletproof - nothing much to mess up.

Wards Master tools are often unsung gems, as you may already know.  I have one of their No. 4 smoothing planes, and it's a great tool, especially for the $2 I paid for it.
