This weekend's auction was only old stuff, some of it I hadn't seen before.

Old family home, closed up for some time. My buddy bought the family car.. a 1924 Studebaker!!

Ooh,ooh...are those hex drive sockets near the old crate?? How about a closeup of them. I'm looking for a few specific ones, with sizes marked like this (9-16, 11-16, etc) with a wide knurling band on them and a chamfered edge. I just picked up a HOL-SET 1/2" hex drive speeder that uses them for cheap.

Nice haul, Skip! I see some nice screwdrivers, a caulk wrench, gas pliers, and some really nice old wrenches in the mix. You did good!!

Hm Wrench

The two wood handled screwdrivers with the square shafts resemble the ones for the studebaker your friend bought.  I would need better photos and lengths.  one of them looks like the handle has been shortened.

Thanks,
Kirk

Third one over from the right on the bottom row is a Mossberg #207, I think. 3/4 by 7/8 .

One of the screwdrivers is missing most of the wood.

The Studebaker had been "converted"   into a machine to hoist hay bales into the barn.

Kind of an upscale doodlebug.

That screwdriver with the red band is putry. I recognize those Stude wheels, is he going to restore it?
