Says it was a Christmas gift from 1963.  Sorry no pics of the wrenches themselves even tho I asked for pics.
At least we will know to look closer if we see a tool pouch like this.

Has (photos of) great tools in this case, Roy; sadly, these sets aren't mine...

Nice.  Disappointed at the sparse labeling, though; a proper set of Whitworth wrenches will have the BSW (Whitworth) and BSF (British Standard Fine) sizes marked.  I've been fascinated for years by the fact that one head size will apply to two different bolt (shank) sizes, depending on which thread pitch it is.

Good stuff here, thanks for the photos and info.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

I have both of these sets.  Anyone know what they are worth?

The sets in the photos are beyond worth.

Wdake - Don't listen to Snapmom - they are of no value and are made from toxic and radioactive materials  Wrap them in heavy plastic and send them to me.  I will see that they are properly disposed of.

OK OK just kidding - I don't know how you could put a price on them.  To have both sets adds to the value of each.  I suppose you would have to estimate the value based on other high quality wrench sets that are no longer available.  Snap-on at one time offered a set of offset double box wrenches - but I bet you can't find a set for sale.  If you are not selling them don't worry about the actual value - just know that they are valuable and very special.

Thanks for the info.  I don't have any use for them, they belonged to a friend of mine who passed away.  Would anyone like a picture of them?
