This old double edge, razor blade scraper, was probably 10 cents when new, if that! But, I found it yesterday for a quater, and it cleaned up like new, and works great! The head rotates to 5 different positions, and I got a box of new/old blades with it to boot! It has a pat. No. of 2141565, and was designed for "McGill Metal Products Co.", of Chicago in 1938, by H.A. Stillson. The Acorn trademark, and the McGill Company is a first time hearing of this company for me.

More than cool! That is a super tool!

Looks like an idea that hasn't lost its time, just lost manufacturers.  Yours is really super.  Not long ago, I picked up a similar (but not near so pretty, and no stops) tool made by Red Devil.  Mine uses a single edge razor blade, and folds the edge back into the handle.  A wing nut locks it in or out, and probably any position in between.  I snapped it up pronto, since it can be closed and safely tossed into a tool box.  There was on on eBay last month with a buy it now price of $10.
