I am much more of a tightwad. I paid $1.12, of which 65c was shipping. Mine is in great shape, except for a scratched owners mark.

Bargain!

I wouldn't mind finding one of those fir a dollar, or even two. I shoukd qualify  my price. I bought a tool lot, which included seven or eight ratchets and wrench sets.

I have a half of one.It came in a box of misc. tools from the flea market. At first I thought it was a stubby ratchet, but noticed the grinding.
Someone chopped off the upright handle part. Guess they didn't think the handle was a good idea either.

I was looking at mine with my older son who was visiting at Thanksgiving. We were discussing it, how it isn't very useful and how collectors like it, and I showed him the 1960 Sears Craftsman catalog when it was introduced, then the 1964 where it wasn't offered anymore.

I thought then that it would have made a nice stubby ratchet.

I would like to see a picture of your modified rat, Bunger. Do you have plans for your 1/2 ratchet?
