Jet is going to want about $50 for a capacitor. Grainger will sell you the same cap for 4 dollars but unless you can drive over and pick it up they'll want 8 or more postage on top.
Ebay will be delighted to get you one for about 6 dollars all in, if you search well enough.

Thats a nice grinder. we have one at work and its a hog at removing metal. you did good for $40.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it n.n Put it to work today for the first time, have my Multitool belt grinder attachment strapped to it. Man that thing is slick... Glad I didn't wind up with a lesser powered tool, this one is just right. And it's amazing how delicate you can be with it, and some 1200 grit belt. Polished my knife up to near mirror finish in no time!
