Well let me try this again I attemped to post is on Thurday it kicked it back for >800 kb without the text. A good lesson copy the message before attempting to post if you are close to the limit. Any way I got this Bonney 4098 from eBay. I got a good deal and I'm impressed with the ratchet, its only a 20 tooth job but smooth. They didn't have one just like it on AA so anything you can tell me would be appreciated. It has what I assume an oil hole in the head. Hope you all enjoy it and it has a JY date code.

Fins, I have this exact same ratchet.  I bought the 1/2" ratchet, a 1/4", some extentions and a whole 1/2" set...all Bonney stuff, from Dayton Fan on GJ for only $40 shipped.  I was surprised no one else had jumped on it.

Do you know what year the date code is for? Just curious to put an age on it. Nice ratchet. Is the ball on the head missing or is that how it should be?
